I am a Professor of Biostatistics, but more importantly, I’m a dad — a dad of three very creative, very active kids who need a good story to go to sleep.
One night, at a loss for a new book to read, I was encouraged to come up with a story on the spot. I remembered the Looney Tunes cartoons I loved when I was little: how wild and wacky they were and how much joy they brought me. The name Turkey Pinky Pants popped into my head, so I went with it. And I found myself spinning a tale of a big-hearted, but obviously self-involved, devil may care personality — a dude with a pink motorcycle costume who was game to try any impossible stunt, as long as it was bigger than the last. Who was also—a turkey!

Head writer and Executive Producer
Best known for her work as a creative development artist, Rita Street is an award-winning creator, producer and writer. She founded Radar Cartoons, LLC. as an umbrella for her work, helping animation studios, game and toy companies, develop their original content into global brands. With numerous studio and network development credits, Rita boasts a proven track record in the development, creation and sales of animated television series and feature films. Her ability to uncover, mold, guide and sell unique properties is recognized by buyers around the world. Rita is also the author of the popular ebook: “A Cartoon Girl’s Secret Guide to Developing Kids Comedies That Sell.” She the former publisher of “Animation Magazine” and very proud to have founded the international nonprofit, “Women in Animation.” Her credits include Angry Birds, Space Chickens in Space, Kai, 100% etc.
